Craig has undertaken 25 + years working across a variety of industry sectors relevant to the development of people and with a commitment to caring for people and place. Craig understands the importance of wellbeing in the community and understands effective Business practices. People can be effective if they recognise the key elements of life and that seek abundance through balancing the priorities of business, relationships, physical world, spiritual and nurturing the wellbeing of oneself. To be effective in projecting a positive outlook and strive for true meaning that is authentic to oneself we begin to achieve life changing outcomes.

Craig has been committed to the Wellbeing of people and community his whole life, growing up as a young person competing and being successful in Surf Lifesaving, surfing and swimming competitions making state teams for sport and competing in World Lifesaving events.

Craig has worked in government, not for profit and private business, overseeing a range of community programs and facilities. This has involved leading community & Business teams to nurture a holistic & healthy view in the world we live in.

Notable defining moments include working in remote Arnhem Land as a recently graduated University student and living in indigenous communities particularly the Yolgnu people of East Arnhem Land had a enormous impact on his view of the world and returning to Adelaide as Program and Events Manager for ‘Life. Be in it’ with a focus on Health and Well-being. Craig also had a extensive career in the Management of Health and Aquatic Centres across Australia. Leisureco was an award winning ‘Leisure Management’ company delivering a range of Leisure and Recreation services and facilities for Australian communities.

Being immersed in Local Government for an extended number of years has equipped Craig to understand work culture, implement effective people management programs and professional administration and management systems. Managing a diverse range of community service programs, recreation, arts, community development, youth & human resource management has given Craig skills in being a balanced Manager. A defining moment in Craig’s career was managing the Living Kaurna Culture Centre (Warriparinga) for 7 years, and being immersed in the rich culture and understanding of Aboriginal politics, traditional lore and caring for country and people. The indigenous wisdom and valuing song-lines and people to place holds a deep respect for Craig that has been provided by the Ancient culture of this country.

Craig’s passion’s include well-being, personal development, a regular yoga/meditation practice, equality & an understanding of the business world.

Craig’s vision is inspiring people to take a holistic and well-being view of the world and align with the rhythm of nature.

The book writes about First Nations wisdom, the ‘well in our being’ and cultivating a new vision - how to live on country and planet earth. Final chapter is a pledge for a new identity to emerge exploring an alternative date and new ethos in how we see Australia, rather than the 26 January birthday celebrations that currently take place.
